Luke grew up on the Mornington Peninsular in Melbourne until the age of 10, when the family moved to Airlie Beach in the Whitsundays, on the North Eastern Coast of Australia. He remembers the family having to go without often and always swore to himself that he would never let money stand in the way of his happiness. Luke has always been an “entrepreneur”, having started his first successful business at age 16, he has worked for himself ever since. Only stopping to learn new industries or to take on additional work and earn more.
Luke moved out of home very young and even negotiated with his high school to only attend 3 days per week, leaving the other days to work at a local retail store and in his spare time, work on his fortune, work on his business. At age 13, by day he was buying and selling cars to make extra cash and by night started DJing at local house parties. This is where his passion for music grew. By 16 he had launched LA Entertainment and was rocking weddings and local events under the DJ name “LA Walker”. He grew this business to include all the best local DJ’s and ran all the evening music entertainment in the area.
As all this work was in the evenings, he started labouring on construction sites. He knew there was money in building and construction. Over the next few years, he learned so much about the construction industry. Along with keeping his entertainment business growing by night, he started and closed a bunch of different businesses, including a building company, a popular local hairdressing salon, surf and clothing store and a few more. A big break came when one of the local nightclubs that he hired out his DJ’s to was up for sale. He and some friends bought in. Now owning the club, he used to DJ at.
Next, he opened a scaffolding business that initially struggled and struggled to get work in a competitive industry. But he never gave up. He hustled, building relationships across his and neighbouring towns. Over the years, this business and its side projects have grown in huge proportions. Now employing 100s of staff across two States in scaffolding, machine hire and labour hire.
LA Entertainment continued to grow, now owning 3 different night venues.
Mr Anderson has launched over 40 different businesses across varying industries. Some success and some, a brutal failure. He has been close to bankruptcy a number of times but has never given up on himself. Now, he travels extensively and shares his experience and passion with others. He splits his time between Australia and Rawai, Phuket, (his second home). He invests in business and more importantly people across the globe. Deals and ventures, too vast in number to mention, he has produced 10s of millions in sales revenue across over 10 different verticals, managed 100s of staff and still has come to visit over 100 countries, all by the age of 30… and this is just the beginning.
